Young and Handsome Coba is currently being kenneled in a boarding facility in Montgomery, NY and we urgently need to get him out!!! Can you open your heart and home to him?

Coba is a GORGEOUS WUGGIE of a neutered 1 year old American Staffordshire/Pit Bull mix who was saved off of Death Row from the high kill shelter in NYC. His coloring is so unique... he looks like he may have part Bernese Mountain Dog in him! He was adopted by a family in Stratsburg, NY but he did not get along with their cat and unfortunately had to go.

He URGENTLY needs a new home with a big yard to play in and because of his exhuberant energy should not be placed with young children or smaller animals. He is good with bigger dogs and loves all humans but will need a strong pack leader, daily exercise, firm discipline and a consistent routine. He knows basic obedience commands but could use more training. He has the potential to be a great wonderful family dog, but just needs some help. We think he would be great with another dog of the same age so they can burn each others energy or with a family with older kids or someone who wants an exercise partner....either or he will make a wonderful loyal companion to whomever adopts him!

If you can adopt/foster Coba, please e-mail back to this post or call #917-543-6193 and leave your callback info so we can set up a meeting asap!

*Depending on where you live, transport can be arranged provided certain criteria is met - also a reasonable adoption donation fee will be requested to cover shots & microchip.

If you can't adopt/foster Coba but still want to help...please consider making a donation to In Our Hands Rescue - you can do so by going to this link http://inourhandsrescue.chipin.com/help-iohr-save-a-last-chance-shelter-dog
