Maybe the fellow didn't need his neck washed, but regardless Rusty licked it thoroughly. It wasn't a question of personal hygiene but of extraordinary affection. This 1-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier loves people and expresses himself wetly. He also enjoys playing with people, even strangers. He's friendly enough with dogs but likes people more. Though he's easy to walk and doesn't tug hard on the lead, he's probably not obedience trained. But who cares, when he clearly has a heart of gold?

But, he's little more than a pup and eager to please. He's learn your commands quickly if you'd give him a chance. Rusty has all shots, neutering and is fully vetted. Currently, Rusty has demodectic mange mostly on his head. It is NON-CONTAGIOUS and is being treated with an inexpensive medication. Special bathing at home would speed up the healing.
