Sheryo

We're desperately trying to save this doggie jewel from euthanasia. But we have 24 hrs to do it. She's a young adult dog with warm brown eyes and a soft, uncomplicated demeanor. This one melts in your hands. We think she's a promising prospect for therapy work for all the qualities that make her so irresistable. This two-year-old cutie arrived at the shelter as a stray on 10/31/08.

She clearly had been someone's pet: she's well nourished (approx 40 pounds), walks politely on a leash, and certainly appears to be housetrained. No aggression ever noted with her regarding food, toys, bones... and towards other dogs or anything else. A very pretty and friendly girl who knows "sit," and enjoys resting at your feet. Happy to be by your side, Sheryo is a little bit overwhelmed by life in the shelter, so she's gets lots of attention from staff and volunteers. It's been fun to see her come out of her shell and smile. Her future home will treasure this cute darling. But we first have to save her life and there's little time left.

Please contact us ASAP at 646 678 6501 if you can foster this little angel even for a week so we can save her life. Or even better, also contact us if you are interested in adopting her. But please do it now.
