Sweet LIL' POSEY found herself at the local city shelter dropped off as a stray, dirty and pregnant. Due to lack of space, she was slated to be euthanized but was spared because she's soo sweet!! A rescue group saved her but the shelter had to abort her puppies and the group boarded her at a vet's office so she could recover... she is recovering quickly and can't stay there much longer and needs to be out ASAP!!! - won't you take her home for the holidays?

Posey is a very petite amstaff/pit mix at only 40 lbs and the vets think she is approx 3 yrs old. She scored very well on her behavior test and seems to be good with other dogs and could care less about cats. We don't know how she is with small kids.. but because of her petite size, feel she would be fine with older kids 7 yrs+...she's adorable, small and soo sweet and craves human attention...she certainly deserves another chance at a good home.
